Honeymoon

We will be going to Tahiti for our honeymoon!! We will be there for 6 nights. We will be flying from Houston to LA then strait to Tahiti. We land in the capital of Tahiti which is Papeete then go directly to the island of Moorea. We will spend 2 nights in a garden villa with our own pool and then 2 nights in an over the water bungelow. Then we fly back to Papeete and stay 2 nights in a mountain view room and enjoy the culture of Tahiti there.

Moorea

The Magical Island Moorea, soaring magically out of the ocean in an explosion of green velvet, is what you would imagine a South Seas island to be. A wide, shallow lagoon surrounds the island ' s vertical mountains where poetic threads of waterfalls tumble down fern-softened cliffs. Peaceful meadows flanked by pinnacles of green will fill your senses and renew your belief in the majesty of nature. Pastel-painted houses surrounded by gardens of hibiscus and birds of paradise, circle the island in a fantasy of happy, yet simple villages.

Moorea

The island's mountainous interior shelters deep valleys, clear streams, high waterfalls and mysterious caves, all bathed in the green iridescence of Mother Nature's light. The wide, flat coastal lands, edged with a rugged coastline, are home to both fields of tropical flowers and most of the island's population. Papeete, meaning "water basket," was once a gathering place where Tahitians came to fill their calabashes with fresh water. Now the invigorating capital city and gateway of the territory, Papeete boasts vibrant markets, fine restaurants, pearl shops, clubs and boutiques.

The Dress!!!!

So I finally found my Wedding Dress!!! It is absolutely beautiful, and fits right in with the old world feel we are trying to create! Daniel doesn't want to know anything about it so don't tell him. The color is called "gold" but it is more of a cream. It is becoming less common for people to wear white dresses now days, plus since my skin is so fair white just washes me out. I made two changes to the dress you're about to see, the train will be longer (it will be Cathedral length) and the buttons will go all the down the back. Here it is: http://maweddingdress.blogspot.com/

Photographer

My photographer is Marco Wang from J. Cogliandro Photography. It's funny because Marco and I went to the same high school, Jr. high school, and elementary school. He grew up a couple of streets down from me haha. Check out their website, they are very good:
