The Proposal

Daniel proposed on November 9, 2007. He wanted it to be a complete surprise, and believe me it was. Since he graduated he had been wanting to walk around campus one last time, so that Friday when he came in town we went to campus. We spent most of the evening roaming around to all the different spots that meant something to us. We talked about favorite memories and funny stories as we strolled through the big oak trees. Then we stumbled upon the very place where we first met ever. Accounting class in room 1111. There was a janitor in there at the time so we went to the classroom next door and continued reminiscing. We then decided to see if the janitor was gone, and he was. So we sat in the very seats where it all began, the first time we had ever seen each other or ever spoke. We continued talking, and making fun of our goofy accounting teacher. When we were about to leave we stopped in front of the chalkboard for a hug, then Daniel got down on one knee and said something along the lines as I'm not happy where our relationship is right now because I want to take it to the next level, we have made so many memories together and I want to make more with you, along with some more sweet talking. All I could say was "Uh uh uh uh uh uh, you have to put the ring on my finger uh" then Daniel says "Say yes!" so I replied "Of Course!"

Bling Bling

Daniel got the diamond when he was studying abroad in South Africa last spring. He went to the actual mine, Cullinan Mine, and bought it there. The British Crown Jewels and the largest diamond in the world came from this very site. My diamond is .75 carats, and completely flawless, a perfect diamond. The setting has 4 smaller diamonds and 4 French cut sapphires on each side. The setting is a 1920s antique Art Deco, hand engraved, platinum setting. I love it!
